Step-by-Step Guide to the Interface

This section describes the capabilities of Fidesys for generating finite element meshes and provides a brief guide to using the program. Step-by-step instructions are provided for constructing a simple mesh using the example of a parallelepiped with a hole.

The steps below illustrate the Fidesys features in terms of creating a geometric model and generating a mesh on it. Following the steps described will introduce you to the basics of using the Command Line (CL) and the Graphical User Interface (GUI) without having to stop at detailed explanations. All commands given in this section are documented in the corresponding sections of the Manual.
