Model Analyzer

The widget Model analyzer allows you to get information about possible errors when creating a model or other incorrect data that may affect the successful launch of the calculation.

To use the widget, go to the tab Power Tools – Model Analyzer.

List of checks available in version 8.0:

Checking the quality of the grid using the Jacobian metric;
Checking blocks:
- Geometry outside the blocks;
- Block Properties;
- The presence of the material in the block.
Comparison of model dimension and material properties;
The presence of GU, links, or links to other elements for blocks of the category "Point" or "Point mass" ("hanging dots");
Checking the GU:
- The presence of a GU;
- Setting the degrees of freedom or components for all GU;
- Contradicting GU (for example, the force is set on a node with GU moving 0).
Checking contacts:
- Comparison of accuracy values and characteristic size of elements;
- In the case of a connected contact, the distance between the pairs should be less than accurate;
- Checking for non-existent element IDs in a contact pair;
- Comparison of the type of contact and the final element with the calculated capabilities of the program (common contact with friction for shells is not implemented in this version).
Checking coupling:
- Belonging of the same node in different sets of nodes in different roles;
- Checking for non-existent item IDs (have been deleted or changed).
Checking the calculation settings:
- Setting the calculation type;
- Checking optimal non-linear settings.
Additional checks:
- Comparison of material properties with the type of calculation. (In modal analysis, the presence of density is checked, if it is not present, then the presence of at least one point mass).

The results of the check are reflected in the column Data in the tab Model analyzer.
