Topological optimization is a type of analysis, the result of which will be the appearance of a structure that has the strength properties of the original structure (or design area), with the lowest possible mass.
The general view of the block diagram of the method for topological optimization of structural elements is shown in the figure below.


Important: only single-block models are supported for this type of analysis.
In order to use this type of analysis:
Then start this type of analysis from: Mode — Calculation Settings, Calculation Settings — Topological Optimization.
