When running the command line version of the program, interrupting the execution operations are possible by pressing the key combination <Ctrl>+C. Some operations can only be interrupted at certain stages. But log file playback stops even if it fails interrupt the task itself. Interrupted magazine playback file can be resumed from where it stopped - see subsection Controlling Playback of Journal Files.
There is an interrupt button within the GUI execution of operations (x), located at the bottom right of the graphics window. If the operation can be interrupted, this button is red.
