CAE Fidesys 9.0 Documentation |
Applies to: Curves
Summary: Mesh a curve with node spacing based on a general field function.
Syntax:
Curve <range> Scheme Stride
Discussion:
The ability to specify the number and location of nodes based on a general field function is also available in CAE Fidesys. With this capability the node locations along a curve can be determined by some field variable (e.g. an error measure). This provides a means of using CAE Fidesys in adaptive analyses. To use this capability, a sizing function must have been read in and associated to the geometry (See Exodus II -based field function for more information on this process). After a sizing function is made available, the stride scheme can be used to mesh the curves.
